We Could Drink This Wine All Day

Puech Haut Prestige Rosé has long been a personal favorite of ours. Hands down, it's one of the very best rosés we have EVER tasted. IIn fact, when we say this wine is a favorite, that's simply not good enough. This wine is more of an OBSESSION.

The 2012 vintage just arrived and we were one of only four accounts in MA allowed to purchase this wine. You literally won't see it anywhere else on Cape Cod.

So why are we so incredibly excited about the arrival of this wine?

Let's start with the color. Its delicate and oh-so-pale hue is downright seductive -- a real head turner. If we came across anyone drinking a glass of this wine we would stop on the spot and award them serious cool points. And we're pretty sure we would be able to spot this wine from a mile away. The color is literally that ethereal. So much so that we could rhapsodize into a Proustian revery about it, but we don't think you would want to read ten more pages of this email.

So, let's get down to it. Puech Haut Prestige Rosé is a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Cinsault, but you would never, ever know it. This is remarkably delicate. Graceful. Even noble. These words will place you in the ballpark of what to expect from this gorgeous wine. Even the bottle is unusual. It's finished in a unique opaque bottle with a glass closure. You won't see that every day!

Mmmmmmmmm. It's sooooo delicious. Fresh notes of strawberries, kirsch and minerals abound in the glass. Based on the color you would never imagine in a million years this wine would have such ummppphhh and pizzazz.

There. We've said it. There's not much more we need to say here, except you should buy it by the case while it lasts. We're sorry we didn't order twice as much, but there just wasn't any left. Next year we will go to battle to obtain twice the amount. For now, though, please enjoy this lovely wine. The sun is bound to grace us with its warmth soon enough, but we really wouldn't wait that long. This wine has already become a staple in our house and the most perfect partner while we cook dinner. Each sip is better than the last.
