Loving That Aglianico

A few weeks ago we broke the news on the arrival of Antonio Caggiano's Aglianico. Many of you adore this wine, so we thought we would present another Aglianico which is stylistically different, yet absolutely brilliant.

The Vesevo Aglianico is smooth and lush and oh so drinkable. You may be surprised by this one!

Vesevo Beneventano Aglianico 2009 (IGT)

"The 2009 Aglianico Beneventano is a pretty, plush wine laced with berries, spices and sweet red fruit. This isn't the last word in complexity or varietal expression, but it is an elegant silky wine that clearly over delivers in its price range. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2019." (Wine Advocate)
