When the weather heats up and traffic grinds to a halt, few wines are as refreshing and comforting as an icy cold glass of rosé. As many of you know, we have a brand new large section of beautiful rosés for your enjoyment. Today's offering is a FANTASTIC bargain.
All rosés are rather limited editions which tend to disappear after a short run. Generally speaking, they're made especially for summer drinking (although we personally drink them year round). This makes them challenging to purchase and even harder to keep in stock. So, here's the heads up on this little beauty. We don't expect it to last until the end of the month, so you may want to stock up now on a case or two while it lasts (we did).
Laurent Miquel rosé was featured as the Daily Pick by Wine Spectator magazine last month, and with good reason. After discount, it retails for less than $9/bottle! This wine is a beautiful pale pink, epitomizing the best of southern French rosés with forward fruit flavors and perfect balance. It's made from Cinsault and Syrah (the Cinsault contributes freshness and soft texture to the blend, while the Syrah provides the dramatic color and delicious red fruit).
Chill this wine down, perhaps on the beach or at a backyard BBQ, and have a glass for us!
